Before you begin your Invisalign treatment, your dentist will complete a written evaluation that includes a diagnosis and treatment plan. During treatment, a series of Invisalign aligners will be custom-made for you in order to move your teeth in the sequence determined by your dentist. 

Regular appointments with your dentist (about once every four to six weeks) will be made in order to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.

The length of treatment for Invisalign will be determined by your doctor based on the severity of your case. For adults, the average treatment time is 12 months, but the length of time necessary for teens and younger patients will vary.
